Welcome to Sweden

"Welcome to Sweden " is a co-operation project between English and geography. We in grade 7 e would like to present Sweden to our partner school in the United States

This is Jönköping where we live. It is situated in the south of Sweden about 300 kilometers from Stockholm. It's a beautiful town surrounded by small mountains and lake Vättern.	The Öresund bridge connects Sweden to Denmark and was opened in 1999 .	Stockholm is our capital and is surrounded by water. In the foreground you can see the castle. Our king is called Carl Gustav and our queen Silvia.
